Gabrio Ghezzi

Gabrio Ghezzi

Gabrio Ghezzi (26-07-1955), Milano - (20-08-2007), Costa Paradiso, Sardegna.

After receiving his degree in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic, Gabrio Ghezzi worked in the Joe Colombo studio before collaborating with Momo Design for several years.

Subsequently, he worked for Mursia Editore, AFG, Edisport and Europa Advertising, before founding a company of his own, Signos, in 1995.

Among his collaborations we recall those for the following brands: Citizen, Seiko, Wyler Vetta, Osama, Sector, Giovanni Rana, Credito Italiano, Cinzano, Q8, Pioneer, Hoover, Vernel, BioPresto, Gabel, Roc, Mondadori Harlequin editions (for which he designed the covers of the various series) and Giovanardi.

His intimate, primordial and concrete creativity reflects the complexity of his character.

Reserved and aloof. Impulsive and direct. Meticulous and fastidious. Intolerant and generous.

Polemical towards society and its habits, its intransigence, he dreams of a simplex world, without status seekers and frauds. He doesn’t sell products, doesn’t seek approval, doesn’t promote vanity.
